Hunting/Feeding

Moving forward we will be using the following Hunting/Feeding rules. Before each session, a 1d10 will be rolled and your Herd will be added to the total. If you are unsatisfied with your total, you have the option of running a hunt scene with your ST. If at any time, your Blood Pool is <5, then you are "Hungry", and are at a -1 penalty to Frenzy. If at any time your Blood Pool is <2, then you are "Starving", and are at a -3 penalty to Frenzy.

If you are unhappy with your starting pool and decide to hunt, you should detail how you are attempting to do so with your ST. They will then determine a pool for you to use (Presence + Persuasion + Majesty for example) and you will add your Haven and Domain Locations to the roll, and add any modifiers. If successful, you find a suitable vessel to feed from and can decide how much blood to take.

A couple of notes on this:

  • If you spend Blood during a downtime, then that is subtracted from the amount of blood you have available to you at a game.
  • If you have the First Tier Coil of Blood, The Blood Seeps Slowly, you roll 1D10. On an even roll you are at full blood for the night, and on an odd roll, you start the night at 1/2 capacity rounded up. If you start play at half capacity, you will still get to add your Herd to your total. If you spent blood during your DT, that will still be subtracted from your total as per usual.
  • If you are a Daeva, and your clan is Eminent, then you will always enter play with your full capacity of blood minus any Blood you spent during your downtime.
